About Outbid

How it works

Every category on Outbid has a #1 spot. Claiming it costs more than whoever holds it now — the price only ever goes up. Pay it, and your listing jumps straight to the top with your headline, your link, and your price on display for everyone to see. Get outbid, and you don't disappear: you just drop down the board, permanently on the record at the price you paid.

Claiming a rank

1. Pick a category and enter your product's URL or @handle.
2. Write a headline and a short pitch — this is what people see on the board.
3. Pay at least the minimum to beat the current #1 (or bid higher to make it harder to take back).
4. Your listing goes live the moment payment clears.

All-time vs. Today

All-time ranks every claim ever made, by price. Today narrows that down to claims made in the last 24 hours — useful for seeing who's actually fighting for the top spot right now.
